Q: Can I use massage oil as a lubricant?

A: No. We do not recommend using anything oil based as a lubricant. Oil based products will break down condoms and are difficult for the body to flush out naturally which in turn can cause yeast infections and bacteria in the vaginal canal. There are, however, oil based lubricants made for male masturbation. We recommend using these with caution. Oil based products don't tend to get sticky like a water based lubricant and a lot of men enjoy this extra slippery, non sticky feeling...we suggest trying a silicone based lubricant instead. We also carry flavored massage oils, they are water based but are not recommended as a lubricant because they have sugars and dyes, which can cause yeast infections.

Q: Are all lubricants safe for use with condoms?

A: Any lubricant purchased at our store is safe for condoms. You want to stay away from anything oil based or petroleum based when using condoms.

Q: What’s the difference between water base and silicone lubricants?

A: Water base lubricants are just that; water based. They are safe to use in almost any situation, where silicone lubricants can only be used during intercourse or manual stimulation. Water based lubes will eventually need to be reapplied as the water ingredients get absorbed into your skin. A silicone lube will sit on the surface of your skin therefore a little goes a long way with few reapplications. It’s important to note: using a silicone lubricant with a silicone toy is a no-no. Silicone lube can eventually brake down silicone and soft material toys. Also silicone lubricants are waterproof and hypoallergenic, a good alternative for people with allergies.

Q: What is the best lubricant to use?

A: Lubricant is a personal decision and it depends on what it is actually going to be used for. We carry 3 different types of lubricant and they are regular water based, flavored water based and silicone. Water based lubricant can be used by everyone and will not cause any irritation. It has a natural feeling almost like the lubrication your own body produces and it is not waterproof. Flavored lubricant is edible and is safe to use on genitals but if you are prone to yeast infections, UTI’s or you are sensitive/have allergies then you should avoid these. Water based lubes, flavored or natural, can become tacky on the skin as your body will absorb the water from them, but they are safe for all toy use. Silicone lubricant is waterproof and stays on the skin until it’s removed by washing. It has a very silky feel to it and can be extremely slippery. Silicone is our hypoallergenic lubricant which contains no dyes, scents or flavors. It is waterproof and our longest lasting. It feels more silky than natural. If you are looking for:

  • Natural feeling: Use natural water based lubricant.
  • Long lasting: Use silicone.
  • Waterproof: Use silicone.
  • Hypoallergenic: Use silicone.
  • Flavored or for fun: Use flavored water based.
  • To use for oral sex: Use flavored water based.
  • To use for anal sex: Use a thicker water based.

Q: I’m a female and I’ve never had an orgasm. What should I try?

A: A lot of women come to us with this problem. We suggest trying one of our clitoral stimulants. We have products ranging from mild to very intense. Also, a bullet is a toy that packs a lot of punch. They usually have a strong vibration and a lot of women find that they work wonders.

Q: What is a good toy for clitoral stimulation?

A: Bullets are definitely a great clitoral stimulant. They are multi speed, smooth, easy to hold, small & compact for preciseness. Certain vibes with the vibrating bullet near the tip are good too and then you can also use it for vaginal penetration.

Q: What’s your best vibrator?

A: There is no “best” vibrator, although some are more popular than others. What arouses one person may leave someone else cold. Think about what kind of experience you are looking for in a toy, and ask yourself some questions: hard or soft material? High intensity or low? How about size, colour, texture? YOU are the best judge of what toy is right for you.

Q: Will a toy replace my partner?

A: Toys can be a way to bring couples together, by discovering different sensations and experiences. The goal of our toys is to enhance, not replace.

Q: What is the G-Spot?

A: It is an area located in the vagina towards the front wall. It can be best found by inserting your middle finger inside the vagina and doing a “come hither” motion with your finger. The texture of the spot is different then that of the walls of the vagina. When it is stimulated, the feeling is very intense and you may feel like you have to go to the bathroom. If stimulated enough your body will pass a lot of fluid, this fluid is not urine and it is clear and odorless.

Q: Dilator sets, what are they used for?

A: Dilator sets are used when someone wants to expand the vagina gradually. The dilator set can have but does not limit to 3 different sizes. The dilators range from a small, medium and large dilator. As you increase the size of dilator this gradually and over time expands the vagina.

Q: I have a problem with premature ejaculation. Help!

A: We carry a variety of products that can help! Desensitizers are one of our most popular items. We carry a spray called Stud 100 which when applied to the head of the penis will desensitize the male and prolong activity. We also carry a condom with desensitizing lubricant on the inside which will do the same thing.

Q: What kinds of items/products can I try if I have problems getting/keeping an erection?

A: There are a couple different things you can try. It may be trial & error to find out which will work best for you. It also depends on your specific problem but here are your options:

  • Penis rings (put on once erection is reached to maintain)
  • Penis pumps (acts like vacuum device to draw blood flow to penis to get an erection, apply penis ring after to maintain the erection)
  • Hero tabs or Forta (increases energy, stamina, blood flow)
  • If all else fails then you can get a PPA (prosthetic penis attachment. Essentially a hollow strap on where your penis will fit inside)

Q: How does a penis ring work?

A: They work by restricting the flow of blood out of the penis, there by making a man’s erection last longer, and feel firmer. Because they restrict blood flow, they should never be worn longer than 20 minutes. They can be used for pleasure, to keep an erection or both!

Q: Penis pumps? How do they work?

A: A penis ring is fitted on the base of the penis, and then an erection is created by pumping the pump. The penis ring is then placed at the base of the penis to restrict blood flow, enabling the erection to be held even in the presence of problems of the vascular or nervous system which would otherwise lead to immediate loss of erection. In the best circumstances erections can be maintained for a considerable time. For safety, rings should be removed after 20 minutes.

Q: Do you sell Hero Tabs?? And are they safe?

A: Yes, we carry Hero Tabs. They are all natural and safe to use. But like with any new medication you should talk it over with your doctor, just to be safe. The most common side effect is a headache. They work similar to Viagra and will help give you an erection and will shorten the “down” time between achieving your first erection, ejaculating and achieving another erection in the same session.

Q: What can I get to put my partner in the “mood”?

A: You could certainly try a sensual massage and near the end touch the more sensitive areas of the body. We have lots of different massage products including scented oils, warming edible oils, massage body bars & massage candles.

You could buy a DVD and watch it together. We have lots of different dvd’s to choose from including ones with a story line like pirates or the 8th day which is a new release that has won some industry awards!

Q: My partner has very sensitive skin and I want to give him/her a massage. What products do you have that will not irritate?

A: That depends if its strong scents that is the irritant or if it is certain ingredients. If it’s strong scents we would recommend the Lady Lust natural oil. If it’s certain ingredients we would consult the list of ingredients with the customer to find products that do not contain them.

Lastly, we suggest a silicone lubricant. It’s hypoallergenic, no scents, long lasting, no dyes, works great! It can also be used as a lubricant of course so you have a 2-in-1!

Q: My partner wants me to try anal sex, but I’m apprehensive. What should I do?

A: First of all, if you don't want to do it...don't do it. Never do something that you do not want to do. If you are interested in anal sex, but just apprehensive, we recommend to start slow and small. Use a finger or a small toy with a flared base and a lot of lubricant. Try it out by yourself first and if you like the feeling and you trust your partner, then try it with them. Communication with you’re partner is a must when trying something new like this. Remember, use a lot of lubricant, go slow, start small and always use a toy with a flared base.

Q: I’m wondering what you carry in regards to bondage. My partner and I have discussed trying it and I’m curious, what it’s all about?

A: Well, we carry books and bondage kits. If this is new for you, you might have to get a book and read up on it. The Beginners Bondage Kit would be good to start with too. If you really want to get into the bondage scene, you should be familiar with your partner. Bondage can become serious, when the person is into their role. We suggest a safe word. This is something both you and your partner should agree on. Once the word is said activities should stop.

Q: Are toys easy to clean?

A: Yes! All of our toys can easily be cleaned with a quality toy cleaner. Simply spray on and wipe off, removing any batteries first. If the toy is not water proof be careful, you do not want to get the area around the battery pack wet.

Q: Do people really use the Fist?

A: Every toy we carry is capable of being used, and there are no adult toys in our store carried as a gag or joke. Not every toy will appeal to every person, and that is what’s so wonderful about sexual expression: we are all unique and experience pleasure in different ways!
